The Most Great Spirit is a poetic term Bahaullah used to refer to himself for people who were unaware (as an introduction). Elsewhere Bahaullah clarifies that he [the most great spirit] created the holy spirit, and that he is the one who spoke TO moses from the Burning Bush. And in arabic he refers to himself as al-Mursil / al-Munzil which is a specific term used by the Quran to refer to the process of sending the Prophet Muhammad and revealing the Quran to Muhammad... meaning that he is the one who sent Muhammad and gave Muhammad the Book. And in Kitabi Aqdas 175/176, Bahaullah says that he observed the Bayan prior to it being revealed to the Bab, and accepted it after the Bab then again presented it to him [In His Tablet addressed to “Him Who will be made manifest”, the Báb characterizes the Bayán as an offering from Him to Bahá’u’lláh]. In this same Tablet the Bab wrote to Bahaullah: "This is an epistle from the letter ‘Thá’ (the Bab) unto Him (Bahaullah) Who will be made manifest through the power of Truth —He Who is the All-Glorious, the Best Beloved—to affirm that all created things as well as myself bear witness for all time that there is none other God but Thee, the Omnipotent, the Self-Subsisting; that Thou art God, there is no God besides Thee and that all men shall be raised up to life through Thee. From all eternity I have indeed recognized Thee and unto all eternity will ever do so through Thine Own Self and not through any one else besides Thee... Every Manifestation is but a revelation of Thine Own Self... I have testified to Thy oneness through Thine Own Self... I have attained the recognition of Thee through Thine Own Self... I have glorified Thy Name through Thine Own Self ... bearing witness that, verily, Thou and Thou alone art the Lord of might, the Eternal One, the Ancient of Days."
