The official Qajar account simply mentions "a body of soldiers" from the Christian regiment, while the early Babi account mentions a "company" or "group" firing simultaneously.

1.) The Baháʼí Faith has split. First there was the Bahá'í–Azali split in 1863 (there are still a few thousand Azalis around, mostly in Iran and Uzbekistan). Then, in 1939, the Caravan of East and West severed its ties with the Baháʼí Faith (they still exist and operate an adult-education Italian language school in New York). In 1960, the Orthodox Baháʼí Faith split and has continued into the 21st century with two or three groups numbering around 200 collectively, mostly in the United States and India. There’s also Unitarian Baháʼís, Free Baháʼís, the Reform Bahá’í Faith, the Baháʼís Under the Provisions of the Covenant, the Tarbiyat Baha'i Community, the Universal Faith and Revelation of Baháʼu'lláh, and the House of Mankind and the Universal Palace of Order.

2.) If the Baháʼí Faith has never split, then lots of other religions also haven’t. The Druze faith hasn’t. Scientology hasn’t. Mandaeism hasn’t. Yazidism hasn’t. Ayyavazhi hasn’t (there are 2.7 million more Ayyavazhis in the world than there are Baháʼís). There are probably hundreds of religions that could claim, by this reasoning, to have never experienced a split.

Bab's notions did not contain much originality. Atheism, under the disguise of pantheism, was the basis of his principles. Every single atom in the universe, he said, was actually God, and the whole universe collectively was God ; not a representative of, or emanation from God, but God himself. Everything in short was God. Bab was God, and every living creature down to each lowest insect. Death was not real it was only another form of divinity, if such language has any signification at all. Virtue had no existence, neither had vice; they were necessarily wholly indifferent, as being portions or emanations of the Godhead. Russian Scholar Kazem-Bek believed that Babism was a political movement which adopted a religious "coloring"

Shoghi Effendi

Shoghi Effendi did not Appoint a Successor, did not leave a Will. He owned expensive cars, cameras, bynoculars and watches. He spent expensive long vacations in Switzerland. Avarih and Sobhi claim that Shoghi consumed Alcohol and had sexual relations with Dr. Zia Baghdadi. 

Baha'u'llah and Abdul Baha commanded absolute, unquestioning obedience to the government. Shoghi Effendi altered this by ruling that Baha'is should disobey the state in "matters of belief," even if the result is death or expulsion. Abdul Baha strictly prohibited Baha'is from sending their children to non-Baha'i schools, labeling it a cause of humiliation. However, he personally sent Shoghi Effendi to several non-Baha'i institutions, including a Jesuit college and Oxford. Shoghi Effendi excommunicated nearly all of Baha'u'llah's living descendants, including his own parents, brothers, and sisters. Shoghi Effendi excommunicated his own brother and cousins for marrying individuals he deemed "lowborn" or for not obtaining his personal permission. In a move to "purify" Baha'i holy sites, Shoghi Effendi ordered the disinterment and removal of the remains of family members he had labeled as "Covenant-breakers". He demolished the house of the so-called "Covenant-breakers" and created an artificial hill from their demolished houses. He established a close relationship with the State of Israel through several high-level administrative and personal actions like Pledge of Loyalty and Allegiance. In a letter to Prime Minister David Ben Gurion, Shoghi stated that the establishment of the Jewish State was a fulfillment of Baha'i prophecy. With the help of the Israeli government, he acquired property that had been expropriated from Palestinians who fled during the 1948 war. He spent hundreds of millions dollars on acquiring land, building monumental architecture and gardens in Haifa. He expressed uncertainty and doubt regarding his own translations, stating he did not consider them final. When a child, Shoghi Effendi was taken to Baghdad for medical reasons, the report indicated a physiological delay that causes infertility. Abdul Baha knew well that Shoghi would never become a father. Baha'i law states that the dead should be placed in a coffin made of crystal, stone, or hard, fine wood. But Shoghi Effendi was buried in an expensive casket made up of bronze.

Why Baha'u'llah was a sham, charlatan?

Baha or Baha'u'llah is a later title (not given by the Bab) of Mirza Husayn-Ali Nuri, who was the older brother, guardian and intermediary of Mirza Yahya Nuri (Subh-i-Azal) who was the named successor of the Bab and source of revelation after him according to the Bab's own well-known testament [1]. First in the middle of the 1850s Baha'u'llah was accussed of making claims, which he denied, called the claimers "liars" [2], and continued to write in high praise of Subh-i-Azal (see [3], [4]).
Later in the 1860s he claimed that he was doing taqiyya all the time, was actually the Bayani messianic figure himself, and the true source of Subh-i-Azal verses [5]. This is the opposite of what actually happened, Baha'u'llah's position was wholly derived from the position of his younger brother (see also [6]), who also contributed to one of most well-known works, the Kitab-i-Iqan, according to the Bayanis, not vice versa. Baha'u'llah's own works testify for the absurdity of this claim, as Subh-i-Azal's style of writing in Baha'u'llah's absence does not differ from his style of writing in the latter's presence. He did nevertheless gather his own followers but his religion has little to do with the actual substance of the Bayan, despite referencing it.

After the 1979 Revolution, Baha'is in Iran are denied fundamental rights because they are not recognized as a religious minority under Article 13 of the Constitution. This lack of legal status leaves them without an autonomous personal status code, forcing them to follow Shi‘i jurisprudence, which leads to the state's refusal to register Baha'i marriages or issue birth certificates recognizing their faith. Baha'is also face systematic discrimination in inheritance, where the legal principle of nafy al-sabil and Article 881 bis of the Civil Code are used to transfer their property to distant Muslim relatives, effectively disinheriting Baha'i families. Crucially, Iranian courts may also refuse to validate Baha'i wills that include bequests to religious centers located in Israel, as such actions are deemed contrary to the state’s political interests and public policy. Problems with the infallibility of the UHJ

• In the current age of "fallibilism," any claim to infallibility is obsolete and untenable. Critics, including some Christian theologians like Hans Küng, argue that "No one is infallible save God" and point to historically erroneous decisions in other faiths (like the Catholic Church) as evidence against the concept.
• Because the Universal House of Justice relies on potentially fragmentary or misreported information from fallible subordinates, its decisions cannot claim absolute correctness. 'Conditional infallibility' is a contradiction in terms: a judgment built on faulty facts is simply an error, and the very need for later correction concedes that it was never infallible to begin with.
• An extensive interpretation that claims everything the House decides is infallible is extremely risky. Critics and zealous observers need only find a single evident error to falsify and empirically disprove the entire claim to divine guidance.
• Applying the "august concept of infallibility" to trivial matters - administrative appointments or building décor - reduces it to absurdity and trivializes the will of God. Worse, an uncritical, quasi-magical view of guidance recasts the institution as a Delphic Oracle, encouraging believers to evade personal responsibility and surrender their own reason.

Baha'i administration defends its image at the expense of justice

Dr. Hossain Danesh a former secretary of the NSA of Canada lost his psychiatry license after multiple sexual abuse allegations. Instead of being decisively removed or publicly condemned within the Baha'i community he was given a prominent role at Landegg University and later supported in returning back to Canada to conduct seminars, on topics like "Healthy Marriage and Family Life."!

In another case a young Baha'i girl accused her father (then chair of an NSA) of sexual abuse. Rather than prioritizing the victim, the institutions allegedly focused on protecting their reputation. Baha'i administration defends its image and its important people even at the expense of justice and victims.

Baha'i leaders were ordinary human beings.

Baha'u'llah's Chronic Issues: He suffered from a hernia (fateq), a condition his own sister pointed out he was unable to heal despite claims of divine power. He also had visible hand tremors or shaking; while his followers claimed this was the result of being poisoned by his brother, Mirza Yahya Subh-i-Azal, Avarih suggests this was a convenient excuse for a physical infirmity. Additionally, a traveler who met him noted that his left eye was significantly weaker or more damaged than his right.

Intoxication and Physical Collapse: Mirza Hussain Jarullah (a close confident of Baha'u'llah in Baghdad), found Baha'u'llah unconscious and physically ill from drinking too much wine. He was so intoxicated that he was unable to move or maintain basic hygiene.

Shoghi Effendi's Skin Condition: As a young man, Shoghi Effendi suffered from a skin disease (described as gal or a type of mange/itch) that affected his hands, forcing him to wear gloves while he was a student.

Abdul Baha's Final Sickness: Despite his followers viewing him as a source of healing, Abdul Baha died from a sudden fever. He had to rely on standard medical treatments, such as injections, which ultimately failed to save him.

Baha'u'llah's Cause of Death: He passed away after being bedridden for 22 days with a severe stomach illness and diarrhea (zahir).

Baha'i Temple on Mount Carmel

Instead of building the Mashriqu'l-Adhkár and despite several warnings, the Heterodox Bahá'í leaders on Mt. Carmel are continuing their plan to disturb and remove the physical remains of Abdu’l Baha from the existing shrine in a sacred place adjoining the holy shrine of the Bab and move to another place which its construction site caught on fire on 8 April 2022 but they did not wake up.

I hope those who call themselves Baha’i investigate the truth and do not blindly imitate what they are telling them.

Shirkat-i Umana affair

When Shoghi Effendi, passed away in 1957 without a will or a successor, it caused a major crisis regarding his massive estate in Iran, valued at nearly $287 million. A conflict arose between Baha'i religious rules, which stated the property belonged to the faith, and Iranian civil law, which stated it belonged to Shoghi's relatives. This was complicated because Shoghi had previously excommunicated his siblings, labeling them as covenant-breakers and enemies of the faith. To prevent losing total control of the assets, the Baha'i leadership made a controversial decision to negotiate with these relatives and pay them a significant portion of the fortune. This move upset many followers, who viewed it as a hypocritical betrayal of Shoghi's own decrees to strictly avoid those family members.

To secure the remaining assets, the leadership established a corporation known as the Umana Company. According to a legal complaint filed by Colonel Yadu'llah Thabet Rasekh, a former member of the community, this company was actually a tool used to commit fraud and evade millions of dollars in taxes. Baha'i leaders (Hands of the Cause) illegally transferred the property titles to a specific individual and then to the company to hide the real value of the land. Why did Shoghi Effendi not write the Will & Testament? Did Shoghi Effendi know that he was going to pass away? Did his death come suddenly upon him? And he did not know? He did not write anything? He did not appoint anyone? Now, Violette has written a book. It is called "A Tribute to Amatul Baha Ruhiyyih Khanum". If you read this, it's a small book.

And I'm sure we have it in the library. There are two very important points in this little book. That Violette writes about.

I'm sure many of you may have heard this even from Ruhiyyih Khanum herself when she was in New Zealand. Because this question was always asked of her. It is this.

Ruhiyyih Khanum says, I was sitting at my desk, working. Shoghi Effendi came to me. He looks at me and he says, this is towards the latter years of his life.

What will become of you after I'm gone? Ruhiyyih Khanum, poor Ruhiyyih Khanum. I don't expect to live after you. Please don't say these things.

Shoghi Effendi takes no notice. He carries on. He says, I assume that you will travel and encourage the friends.

Every time the friends ask, why are you traveling so much? Shoghi Effendi says, because Shoghi Effendi told me that after him I must travel and encourage the friends. It was in this context that you may have even heard this from Ruhiyyih Khanum's own lips. Another event that Violette refers to is when he was in London the last few days of his life Shoghi Effendi turns to her and says, I don't want to go back to Haifa.

You go alone. And you know what to do. Ruhiyyih Khanum understood this because he had just come out of a bout of Asian flu and he was very, very weak and Shoghi Effendi was discouraged that he was saying these things.

She did not realize that it had a special meaning. 24 hours later he passed away. Now, I ask you this question.

Someone who in the first instance someone who is concerned about the welfare of his wife and is advising her what to do after his death such a person who is the guardian of the Baha'i faith who is the protector of the faith of Baha'u'llah does not think about the welfare of the faith? He thinks about only his wife? It's impossible. It's inconceivable. The only answer is, I think that of course he knew that he did not want to write a will.

When someone asked the House of Justice why Shoghi Effendi did not write his will the answer is this is something that the friends should accept that there was a wisdom in everything that Shoghi Effendi did or did not do, his silence on the subject is itself divine guidance and the friends should accept that. Shoghi Effendi was sure about the future of the cause was absolutely sure one of the hands of the cause, Mr. Samandari, used to say after the death of Shoghi Effendi he used to say friends if Shoghi Effendi was not sure about the security of the faith after his death he would not have passed away. That's what Mr. Samandari used to say.
