Local Spiritual Assemblies according to the UHJ

The Universal House of Justice described Local Spiritual Assemblies as "having lofty station", "embryos of the majestic institutions ordained by Bahá'u'lláh in His Writings" listing tasks such as "to act as a loving shepherd to the Bahá'í flock...familiarize the Bahá'ís with its plans...encourage him (them)...to contribute freely and regularly to the Fund."
