Holy wars ordained by the Bab were offensive

In various places MacEoin has argued that an offensive, and not merely a defensive, holy war was ordained by the Bab, and that the Baha’i representation of the Bab and His message is inaccurate. MacEoin’s views on this issue are summarized in his 1982 article,“The Babi Concept of Holy War.”
