As I heard from the late Mr. Fatheazam, former member of the Universal House of Justice, Mírzá Hadi Afnan and Ziaiyyeh Khanum, parents of the Guardian are referred to as “unfaithful” to the Guardian. When they passed away Shoghi Effendi did not allow anyone to attend the funeral. He did it by himself to fulfill the duty of a son to parents only. Their resting places are in the Baha’i Cemetery in Haifa which I’ve seen. Names engraved on the tomb-stones are not written in normal Persian way continuously connected letters; but letters are written individually and separated from each other. As probably (my opinion) a sign of breaking their allegiance to Him. It looks like following: First one is name of His father and the following His mother
